The Friendship Circle of Orange/Woodbridge

The Friendship Circle is dedicated to creating a more inclusive community for individuals with special needs. Through uniquely designed programming that brings individuals of all abilities together in friendship, we create a safe and welcoming space where everyone is appreciated, valued and accepted just as they are.

Friendship Circle creates meaningful friendships in the lives of individuals with special needs and those who may be experiencing isolation. At the same time, it provides opportunities for participants to become active, valued members of the Friendship Circle community.

The Friendship Circle is founded upon the inspiration of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who taught that every human being is an integral part of creation and society is incomplete without them. Guided by this vision, we strive to enhance the lives of the families we serve while giving volunteers the opportunity to experience the profound rewards of selfless giving.

What Programs Does Friendship Circle Offer?

We are thrilled to introduce Friendship Circle to our community, beginning with our Friends at Home Initiative - an opportunity to build meaningful connections and create lasting friendships/

Friends @ Home is Friendship Circle’s signature one-on-one friendship program, pairing teen volunteers with children and teens with special needs for bi-weekly visits in the comfort of their own homes.
